Hernando de Soto

Are you looking for a treasure to find? Would you be happy with some Spanish gold? Do you live in Arkansas? Well if you do, you may want to do a little searching for a sealed up cave said to hold the gold, silver and jewels that De Soto had with him when he passed through the area.

In the 1500’s Hernando de Soto and six hundred men traveled into the area that is now Arkansas during an exploration of the “New World”. With them they carried gold and silver and jewels that they had found and/or pilfered along the way.

They had been suffering losses due to hostile Indians (image that) and illness of the men so when they reached Brushy Creek just south of present day Berryville they decided to hide their heavy cargo and return for it at a later date. That’s right, they supposedly never returned to retrieve their treasure.

This is about all of the information I have on this one, Spanish treasure, sealed cave near a creek and just south of Berryville, Arkansas. If it helps in your research any, De Soto died in Arkansas in 1542. The information indicates he died on the banks of the Mississippi River at the present day location of Lake Village, Arkansas.

I guess it would be hard to return for your treasure if you didn’t live to make the return trip. This could be a pretty good lead to check out.

GOOD LUCK!! I AM THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD TO EVER DISCOVER ANYTHING WITH THIS SPANISH EXPLORER'S NAME ON IT. (LOST TREASURE MAGAZINE, APR 2003). HERNANDO HAD NO GOLD OR JEWELS TO HIDE. EVERYTHING OF VALUE HAD BEEN LOST AT THE BATTLE OF MABILA IN 1540. ALL HE LEFT BEHIND WERE THE RELICS OF AN ARMY ON THE VERGE OF DISOLUTION AND COLLAPSE, BUT IN THE SPIRIT OF THE CONQUISTADOR THEY CARRIED ON THEIR CONQUEST. TO FIND DE SOTO RELICS WORTH MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER MAKE IN YOUR LIFETIME, HERE'S THE THREE LOCATIONS I FOUND OURS. ON ANASTASIA ISLAND NEAR ST. AUGUSTINE FLORIDA. TRY SEARCHING THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACHES NEAR ANASTASIA STATE PARK. IN CALLOWAY COUNTY KENTUCKY NEAR DEXTER, RELICS WERE FOUND AT AN OLD FARMSTEAD NEAR AN ANCIENT SPRING. AND FOR ANYBODY IN THE SHOW ME STATE YOU CAN DIG UP THE ENTIRE CITY OF POTOSI, IT USED TO BE LITTERED WITH THEM. THE BAD NEWS IS THE EPA IS GETTING READY TO SPEND ANOTHER 34 MILLION DOLLARS TO DESTROY THE ELIGIBLE NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE I DISCOVERED AND DE SOTO'S NATIONAL MEMORIAL ISN'T EVEN ALLOWED TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THEIR OWN PAST. YOU CANNOT SELL A DESOTO ARTIFACT AT AUCTION, BECAUSE NOBODY WILL TOUCH THESE NATIONAL TREASURES OUR GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO PRETEND NEVER HAPPENED AT THE SAME TIME THEY KEEP ON COMMEMORATING THIS SPANISH EXPEDITON DID. IF ANYBODY DISAGREES WITH ME, PLEASE CONTACT US BECAUSE I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE REST OF THESE THINGS. AM CONTEMPLATING DONATING MY COLLECTION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA FOR RESEARCH ON THE DONALD SHEPPARD THEORY. FLORIDA HATES THE FACT I DISCOVERED DE SOTO ALONG THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. IT SHEDS MORE LIGHT ON THE LEVERETTE THEORY ALONG WITH SOME ARTIFACTS THEY ALREADY HAVE IN THEIR COLLECTION, THAT NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO KNOW ABOUT. SO MUCH FOR HISTORICAL TRUTH. AT LEAST NOW, THERE'S SOMEBODY ELSE CRAZIER THAN I AM, WHO THINKS THEY INVENTED A SECRET ION DETECTOR THAT CAN FIND LOST NEUTRON BOMBS AND PILES OF SPANISH GOLD. THE TRUTH IS DE SOTO DIED A BROKEN MAN. HE LOST ALMOST EVERYTHING HE HAD IN A VAIN ATTEMPT TO DISCOVER MORE GOLD. WHAT HE DID LEAVE BEHIND ENDED UP IN 16TH CENTURY PROBATE COURT AND HIS WIDOW WAS SUED BY DE SOTO'S MAIN BUSINESS PARTNER, A GUY NAMED HERNAN PONCE WHO FILED A LAW SUIT AGAINST SOTO'S WIFE AND HEIRESS. THE LADY ISABELA DE BOBADILLA. TO GET AN IDEA OF THE TREASURE THEY HAD TO FIGHT OVER, THERE'S A LIST OF IT PUBLISHED IN THE DE SOTO CHRONICLES, EDITED BY MY FRIEND FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA DR. LAWRENCE CLAYTON, AND ET. AL. (OTHERS). THEREFORE, THE REAL TREASURE LIES IN THE DE SOTO ARTIFACTS BEING FOUND WITH THE SPANISH EXPLORERS NAME. YOU'RE TALKIING ABOUT ARTIFACTS WORTH PROBABLY IN THE HUNDRED'S OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. UNFORTUNATELY THERE'S NO WAY TO CASH THEM IN. FOR ME, I CAN'T EVEN DONATE ONE FOR FREE TO A GOOD HOME IN THE ACCREDITED MUSEUM OF FLORIDA HISTORY OR A NATIONAL MEMORIAL IN BRADENTON AT THIS TIME. IT'S TAKEN NINE YEARS JUST TO TRY AND ESTABLISH A NATIONAL HISTORIC TRAIL TO THE MAN AND WE AREN'T EVEN CLOSE TO GAINING THE SUPPORT OF KNOWLEDGEABLE EXPERTS. ONLY ABOUT HALF WAY THERE. IT'S NO SECRET THOUGH. IF YOU WANT TO FIND DE SOTO'S TRAIL RIGHT NOW. I JUST TOLD YOU WERE TO LOOK.

I have been reading some of your forum on Desoto and am intrigued. I do not live that far from you and have come across some stuff that I am wondering if they are not relics from the desoto campaign and would like to get your input. ronniegadberry@yahoo.com

Okay I've read some stories that sound about the same but in the northwestern corner of Alabama in an area called redbone cave just outside of Florance AL.Like everyone else I did some research and found that the story is passed down from generation to generation and just tonight talked with a friend that said his dad at the age of 83 told him stories when he was in his teens that a dam was built and that that cave was under a lot of water. So ,,when I look at all I have seen and heard it only makes sence that that would be true. A man found an ingot bar in a river bed near that area and a farmer found one in a field near a stream so due to this I believe the story is close to the truth and am looking to go soon and check it out for my self. I don't care if anyone is interested in Hernandos path he took but in finding and sharing history with people like you guys. the government has made it clear that they want us to believe what they want us to. History has never been told truthfully by our government, one lie for another. So we can be certain if they say it never happened that it did especially sence our families have pretty much held the same story for centuries. Who do you want to believe? them or your family? I choose Family.
